Fics and Hardware Problems
So the hard drive was bad enough that my computer specialist husband had to send it to a company that does hard drive retrieval. It will cost way too much money and we really need to look at better back up options for the future. I am still holding out hope I won't have to re-edit all the works I had saved there. Going back to the rough IM logs would be a whole lot of work.
NEWS and QUESTION FOR READERS: Good news. I found a more recent copy of the long version of Shooting Star and was able to re-chapter it. So the new Beta I am working with has it and hopefully he will be able to work quickly through it so I can start publishing it. It is currently twenty chapters. Right now, the rewrite of the one shot into a first chapter of Shooting Star is done. And chapter two is also ready.
NOTE: Shooting Star is darkfic, so read the warning before reading the story. This one is darker than Blind Beauty.
