LOL, yes, that's why I was asking. It's odd the issues that come up when writing something a smutty as this. I want things to go well, the words right so they don't distract the reader from the fun. I choose to go with "thin mattress" with the idea that while "pallet" might work, it would throw too many people who didn't know the usage of the word.
